Direct Sales Channel Executive

We are currently looking for an experienced Direct Sales Channel Executive who will be responsible for supporting the PNG sales team and overseeing the direct sales channel territory. The role involves managing customer inquiries, qualifying leads, assisting with quoting, and ensuring smooth operations between the sales team and customers. This position is essential for enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the sales function, improving lead conversion, and ensuring timely responses to customer needs.

Responsibilities will include:

• Assess and prioritize inbound leads to ensure they are directed to the appropriate sales representatives.
• Qualify leads by gathering key information, identifying customer needs, and determining the potential for conversion.
• Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner, providing accurate information about products, services, and pricing.
• Prepare and deliver quotes to customers, ensuring alignment with company pricing and sales strategies.
• Oversee the direct sales channel for the assigned sales territory, ensuring effective management and optimization of sales activities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers to ensure long term satisfaction and repeat business.
• Handle customer concerns and escalate issues as needed to ensure a positive customer experience.

Candidates' requirements for the role include:

• Minimum Diploma in Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum of two years’ work experience as a Sales Executive in the logistics industry or similar fast paced industry.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficient with the use of computers and other relevant technology.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver's license is an added advantage.
• Current police clearance certificate.
