Kainantu Resources Limited (KRL), a wholly owned subsidiary of South Pacific Metals Corp. (TSX.V: SPMC), is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Drilling operations Manager + additional Senior Diamond Core Drillers to join our team.

KRL is advancing multiple highly prospective gold projects in Papua New Guinea’s premier mining regions. These are casual or permanent roles offering an above-market salary and excellent career development opportunities.

Position Details:

• Location: Kainantu region, Eastern Highlands, PNG
• Roster: 4 weeks on / 2 weeks off
• Focus: Epithermal Au and porphyry Cu-Au systems

Requirements: Drilling Operations Manager

• Ideally 15 years experience in the drilling industry
• Experience in PNG-based exploration, ideally in epithermal and porphyry-type geology - A MUST!
• Extensive experience in surface diamond core drilling.
• Proven experience with helicopter mobilisation and remote site operations.
• Strong leadership, technical, and hands-on operational capability.
• Reporting directly to the Drilling and Project Managers.
• Strong safety culture and commitment to best practice.
• Sober habits and professional conduct
• Proficent English language skills

Requirements: Diamond Core Driller

• Minimum 5 years experience in surface diamon core drilling
• PNG national / local candidate based in Papua New Guinea.
• Experience in epithermal and porphyry-type geology - A MUST!
• Proven experience with helicopter mobilisation and remote site operations.
• Strong leadership, technical, and hands-on operational capability.
• Reporting directly to the Drilling and Project Managers.
• Strong safety culture and commitment to best practice.
• Sober habits and professional conduct

Mandatory Certifications & Clearances (Both Roles):

• Drilling Certifications
• Police clearance certificate
• Medical fitness certificate
• Safety qualifications (desirable):
• First Aid & CPR
• Working at Heights
• Confined Space Awareness
• Hazard Identification / JSA / HIRA
• Manual Handling
• Defensive Driving
• Helicopter Safety Awareness / HUET
