DRIVER

Facilities and Ground Services is seeking for an experienced candidate for the position of Driver based in Port Moresby, operationally reporting to General Manager Operations.

This role is responsible to the GM Operations in carrying out driving duties as required from time to time;

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Drive office vehicles, transporting authorized personnel, do delivery and collection of mailed documents and other items as required.
• Collect and deliver mail and other communications off/from the Company
• Maintain assigned vehicles; renew road licenses and vehicle insurance when required.
• Perform minor repairs and ensure that the vehicle is kept clean.
• Check the logging of official trips, daily mileages, fuel consumption, oil changes etc. in the log books
• Ensure that in the event of an accident, the Company rules and regulations are adhered
• Perform other admin duties such as delegated by the Finance & Admin Manager from time to time.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCES

• Minimum Grade 12 qualification
• Must have a valid class 3-6 PNG Driver’s License
• Minimum of three (3) years driving experience
• Appropriate work experience in a similar role
• Have no criminal records or no prior criminal/traffic offenses.
• Must be customer service orientated, physically fit with quick learning skills
• Excellent communication skills
