We are seeking a reliable, safety-conscious, and experienced Driver to join our Logistics Team based in Lae. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the timely, safe, and efficient transportation of goods while maintaining high standards of customer service, vehicle care, and compliance with company procedures

Your responsibilities will include:

• Safely operate company vehicles in compliance with road traffic laws and company policies.
• Ensure products are delivered accurately and on time to customers.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and promptly report any defects or maintenance requirements.
• Verify delivery documentation and maintain accurate transport records.
• Ensure loads are secured and transported safely to prevent product damage.
• Monitor vehicle performance, fuel usage, and cleanliness.
• Report accidents, incidents, or vehicle breakdowns immediately.
• Maintain a professional and customer-focused approach when interacting with customers and stakeholders.

To be considered for the role, you will need to have:

• Minimum Grade 12 education or equivalent.
• Valid driver's licence with the appropriate class for heavy vehicle operation.
• Minimum three (3) years' experience operating heavy-duty trucks.
• Good understanding of transport and logistics operations.
• Strong knowledge of road safety requirements and vehicle maintenance practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and record-keeping skills.
• Experience in working with diverse culture and developing relationships quickly (essential)
• Must understanding of end-to-end supply chain drivers within FMCG
