POSITION VACANCY: DUMP TRUCK DRIVERS

Reinhold Engineering and Group of Companies Limited is a nationally owned civil works and building construction company based in Port Moresby. We are seeking experienced and dependable Dump Truck Drivers to transport construction materials safely and efficiently.

About the Role

You will transport soil, aggregates, spoil and other approved materials between loading areas, stockpiles and project sites, following designated routes and site instructions.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete pre-start inspections and report vehicle defects.

• Transport materials safely within vehicle capacity and approved load limits.

• Follow designated haul routes, speed limits and traffic management arrangements.

• Coordinate loading and unloading with operators, spotters and supervisors.

• Confirm tipping areas are suitable and follow safe tipping procedures.

• Maintain trip sheets, delivery records, fuel records and operating logs.

• Keep the vehicle clean and report incidents, damage or delays promptly.

Qualifications & Experience

• Valid PNG driver’s licence appropriate to the assigned truck.

• Demonstrated dump truck or tipper driving experience.

• Relevant competency evidence for the assigned vehicle type.

• Experience working around mobile plant and construction traffic.

• Understanding of safe loading, hauling and tipping practices.

Essential Skills & Competencies

• Defensive driving and strong hazard awareness.

• Good judgement on uneven ground and at tipping locations.

• Clear communication and ability to follow instructions.

• Reliability and responsible vehicle care.
