We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation Technician to support the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of plant equipment and systems within a power generation environment. This role will play a key part in ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and maintaining compliance with operational and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on electrical and instrumentation systems
• Monitor and maintain plant equipment including turbines, generators, compressors, motors, and control systems
• Conduct inspections, fault finding, and diagnostic testing to identify equipment issues
• Support preventive maintenance programs to improve operational reliability and efficiency
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety procedures, permits, and lock out/tag out requirements
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, reports, and equipment documentation

Key Requirements

• Minimum 5 years’ experience within power generation, electrical, controls, or industrial maintenance environments
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical and instrumentation systems and equipment
• Experience working with high voltage switchgear, generators, turbines, or plant control systems will be highly regarded
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation
• Sound understanding of workplace health, safety, and compliance requirements
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently and within a team environment
