Trukai Industries Limited has a vacancy for an Electrical Engineer. The role will be based in Lae and will report to the Engineering Manager.

The role will be responsible for leading a team of Electricians, which includes leading safety and reliable investigations to identify the root cause and implement workable solutions to meet maintenance standards. The incumbent is also responsible to design, develop and supervise the installation of electrical equipment, components, or systems for commercial, industrial, or utility use and to ensure all electrical operations in the business is maintained and compliant to electrical standards.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering
• More than 5 years’ experience in a similar role in an FMCG Industry
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Strong understanding of the interface between electrical and mechanical equipment
• Demonstrated experience in root cause identification of complex electrical problems
• Good communication, planning and organizational skills
• Computer literate and can create and compile activity reports
• Proactive and well developed time management skills
