We are enthusiastically seeking highly skilled and motivated Electrical Mechanic to join our Engineering Team
QUALIFICATION
- PETT / Tradesman’s Certificate in Electrical Mechanic
- Diploma in electrical/electronic engineering
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 5–10 years proven work experience in similar field
- General mechanical experience including electrical, plumbing, general construction.
- Work from ladders, scaffolds, lifts and roofs to install, maintain or repair electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures
KNOWLEDGE
- Understanding the basic principles of electricity and electronic for diagnosing and repair electrical issues
- Familiarity with local and national electrical codes for ensuring compliance and safety
- Sound knowledge on technical drawings and schematics
- Computer system knowledge
- Repairing and replacing components
- Conducting inspections
- Installation of electrical systems
SKILLS
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and understanding electrical systems
- Reporting
- Mechanical competency
- Math skill for analyzing, design and troubleshooting
