Summary

The Escort & Emergency Response Team Leader plays a critical role in safeguarding people and property by leading emergency preparedness and patrol coordination. The role ensures efficient incident handling, digital reporting, resource readiness, and secure escort of personnel and sensitive materials. A focus on digital tools, professional conduct, and sustainable practices is key to success in this role.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead, train, and supervise emergency response and patrol teams during drills and actual incidents.
  • Escort staff, visitors, VIPs, and sensitive materials securely during emergencies or high-risk situations.
  • Digitally manage and maintain emergency and patrol equipment (e.g., radios, med kits, evacuation tools).
  • Coordinate closely with police, fire, medical, and other emergency services as needed.
  • Implement and regularly review emergency response procedures to ensure safety and efficiency.
  • Respond promptly to incidents, alarms, and threats; ensure clear action plans for evacuation or containment.
  • Use digital platforms for incident logging, communication, and shift reporting.
  • Plan and lead emergency drills, debriefings, and readiness checks with structured follow-ups.
  • Support sustainability efforts by optimizing resource use, reducing waste, and using energy-conscious tools and methods.

Job Requirements

  • High School Certificate or Diploma in Security, Safety Management, or related field preferred.
  • First Aid, CPR, or Basic Life Support (BLS) certified, or willingness to obtain.
  • 3–5 years in security, military, police, or emergency response roles.
  • Leadership experience in fast-paced or high-risk environments.
  • Experience coordinating with external emergency services is an advantage.
  • Background in structured security and safety environments is preferred.
  • Strong leadership and confident decision-making under pressure.
  • Clear communication, both spoken and written.
  • Quick assessment and implementation of effective actions during emergencies.
  • Familiarity with emergency protocols and threat assessment procedures.
  • Comfort with digital tools such as radios, surveillance systems, mobile apps, and access control software.
  • Ability to remain calm and act quickly in emergencies.
  • Capable of lifting and handling emergency equipment.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
