NKW Group is currently looking for an experienced Estimator to keep up our level of commitment to safety and customer service. In this role, the successful candidates will be responsible for attempting to figure out how much a project will cost and help Construction team to create proposal ensuring compliance in accordance with business and industry standards and work closely with other team members to meet company’s goal. This is a challenging opportunity for a knowledgeable and hardworking Estimator to apply his/her skills set to meet deadlines and business target.

Key roles and responsibilities

• Conduct site take offs and develop job schedules
• Supervise small to medium project sites when required
• Oversees inter-company projects in the absence of Construction Manager
• Participate in bid and tender process
• Analyse labour, material, and time requirements for a project
• Estimate cost for the entire projects
• Prepare reports detailing all of the costs going into a project
• Input cost data into company data base
• Notice differences between estimated cost and actual cost
• Assess customer requirements for a project
• Work with sales and purchasing team to prepare proposals

Qualification and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture or related field
• Minimum of 5 years experience working in Construction or Mining industry in a similar role
• Ability to work independently
• Very detail oriented
• Ability to put together a professional presentation and create reports on costing data
• Amazing analytical and math skills
• Ability to work well on a team
• Deep knowledge of how processes work
• Ability to understand technical drawings and requirements

Other Requirements

• This position is open only to LAE BASE Candidates.
• Candidate should have a current class 6 license
