POSITION VACANCY: EXCAVATOR OPERATORS

Reinhold Engineering and Group of Companies Limited is a nationally owned civil works and building construction company based in Port Moresby. We are seeking experienced and safety-conscious Excavator Operators to support our construction projects.

About the Role

You will operate excavators for excavation, trenching, earthworks and material handling in accordance with site instructions and approved safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out excavation, trenching, loading and earthworks as directed.

• Work to required lines, levels and excavation limits with guidance from supervisors and survey teams.

• Complete pre-start inspections and report defects promptly.

• Confirm service locations and required excavation controls with the supervisor before digging.

• Work safely with spotters and maintain exclusion zones around operating plant.

• Use approved attachments within equipment limits and operator competency.

• Maintain operating records and keep equipment clean and secure.

Qualifications & Experience

• Demonstrated excavator operating experience on construction projects.

• Relevant operator competency certification or evidence of training.

• Applicable licences and site authorisations for assigned duties.

• Ability to perform pre-start checks and identify equipment defects.

• Experience with drainage, trenching and bulk earthworks is an advantage.
