They are seeking exceptional, experienced professionals to fill this pivotal Executive Director role to lead a core operational and strategic division. As a member of ICAC’s senior executive team, you will provide strategic direction and operational oversight to drive the Commission’s mandate.
Lead the ICAC’s Operational Fight on Corruption
Our client is searching for a highly experienced and ethical operational leader for the role of Executive Director, Investigations, Intelligence & Assessment (IIA) Division. This role leads the core operational function of the ICAC, directing the assessment of complaints, the collection of intelligence, and the comprehensive investigation of corrupt conduct.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement the Commission’s operational objectives using effective, lawful, and appropriate strategies.
- Oversee the development of processes for complaint assessment, intelligence collection, and corrupt conduct investigation.
- Directly supervise the Directors of Investigations, Intelligence & Assessment
- Identify and manage significant operational and organizational risks for the Division.
- Develop productive working relationships with key partner agencies (law enforcement, integrity agencies).
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Law, Criminal Investigations Forensic Accounting or relevant disciplines
- Minimum 15 years of work experience in a law enforcement or investigation body with at least 7 years of experience at a senior management level.
- Significant criminal investigation experience and expertise, with required field experience.
- Deep knowledge of criminal law, law enforcement/administrative investigation processes, evidence, intelligence methodologies and public sector systems
- Sound judgment in operational matters and well-developed leadership skills.
