EXPERIENCED PANEL BEATER
(Not “I helped my cousin once” experienced)

PNG Motors is looking for a highly experienced Panel Beater to join our growing workshop team supporting some of the world’s leading automotive brands including Ford, Mazda, Hyundai, Suzuki, JMC, and Joylong.

This role is for someone who genuinely knows the trade properly. We are specifically looking for applicants with more than 4 years of real hands-on panel beating experience. Not workshop exposure. Not “assistant” experience. Actual experience repairing damaged vehicles, restoring panels properly, and understanding the difference between a quick patch-up job and professional repair work. If you do not have solid panel beating experience, please do not apply.

The Role
You’ll be responsible for repairing damaged vehicle panels, restoring body alignment, straightening chassis and frames where required, replacing damaged components, and preparing vehicles for paint to a high professional standard. You’ll work across everything from smaller accident repairs through to major collision work on passenger, commercial, and fleet vehicles.

This is a busy workshop environment where quality, efficiency, and workmanship matter equally. Attention to detail is critical because customers notice poor panel gaps, uneven body lines, bad preparation work, and shortcuts immediately. We are looking for someone who takes genuine pride in producing clean, straight, professional repair work and understands the importance of maintaining workshop standards at all times.

What We’re Looking For
We want someone with more than 4 years of proven panel beating experience who can work independently, maintain quality under pressure, and consistently deliver high-standard repairs. You should understand chassis alignment, structural repair work, repair timelines, and workshop efficiency without sacrificing workmanship.

You should also take pride in clean workmanship, understand workshop discipline, and work safely and professionally at all times. Experience using modern repair equipment, measuring systems, welders, and working on commercial vehicles will be highly regarded.

Who Will Struggle Here
People who cut corners will struggle here. People who think filler fixes everything will struggle here. People who need constant supervision or rush jobs out the door without caring about quality will struggle here.

This role suits experienced tradesmen who understand the difference between simply getting a vehicle out of the workshop and repairing it properly.

Why PNG Motors
PNG Motors is one of Papua New Guinea’s leading automotive organisations, representing globally recognised vehicle brands and operating professional workshop facilities across the country.

You’ll be joining a workshop team that values skill, reliability, professionalism, and workmanship. We take pride in doing repairs properly and maintaining standards our customers trust. This is an opportunity to work in a professional environment where your experience and ability will be respected.

How to Apply
If you’re an experienced Panel Beater who takes pride in quality repairs and professional workmanship, we want to hear from you.

Send your CV and a short cover letter outlining your experience to: Dylan Siketa
