Credit Corporation (PNG) Limited seeks an experienced person to fill in the role of Facilities Manager (Credit House), this is a senior management role and reports directly to the CC Properties Facilities Manager.

The Credit House Limited (CHL) Facilities Manager will be responsible for organising, controlling, and coordinating the strategic and operational management of Credit House to ensure high service delivery, to all common areas and facilities on the premises including but not limited to maintenance, cleaning, and security to create and ensure a safe and secure environment for both tenants and visitors.

Credit House Limited is a fully tenanted premium commercial building located in the Port Moresby CBD with blue ribbon tenants requiring a very high quality of services with a strong customer (tenant) focus.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the general upkeep of Credit House common areas and tenanted floors
• Provide prompt and professional support services to meet varying expectations of Credit House tenants.
• Proactively monitor maintenance expenses with a view to manage spending
• Actively lead daily staff toolbox meetings
• Create work orders on FMI and follow through with work/job/task completion before closing in Pulse ensuring to maintain a clear paper trail on process.
• Oversee and monitor any Contractors and Suppliers in carrying out maintenance, cleaning, landscaping, and upgrades on the building.
• Provide ongoing services and monitoring for Air Cons, Pest Control, Genset, Fire services & electrical systems.
• Ensure all work order inputs into the BEIMS system are closed off in the system.
• Conduct daily toolboxes and weekly HSSE briefing with the team to ensure compliance with HSSE policies and fulfill the role of Credit House Chief Fire Warden as part of the HSSE Committee.
• Regularly review the BMS to ensure all controls are active to Tenants satisfaction.
• Be aware of the Gallagher Security System and ensure it is always fully operational.
• Delegate & implement repairs & remediation from the CHL Help Desk emails received
• Be an active part of improving staff performance with the support of the People & Culture team through monthly one on ones
• Identify training needs for team members
• Participate in all aspects of training and development as directed, use learning opportunities to develop skills necessary to improve effectiveness, efficiency, and service delivery.
• Must be available for after-hours calls and duties

Skills & Requirements

• 3-5 years’ facilities and premises management experience
• Experience as a Facilities Manager with strong technical (electrical or HVAC) skills desirable.
• Experience in working with an electronic based BMS.
• Experience in Project Management is desirable
• Must have strong leadership skills and experienced in managing people
• Excellent negotiation skills and attention to detail
• Cross-culturally sensitive and the ability to communicate with people at different levels
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Working knowledge of supplier management, contracting and tendering.
• Experience with managing Occupational Health & Safe Environment in the workplace.
• Excellent computer skills with sound knowledge of properties management systems
• Good time management skills to able to prioritise and meet deadlines.
• Must have a current driver’s license
