We are seeking motivated and safety-conscious Process Technicians to join our Feedmill Operations teams in Lae. This role is responsible for operating and monitoring feed manufacturing processes to ensure the efficient production of high-quality animal feed products while maintaining safety, quality, and operational standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITITES

• Operate and monitor feedmill machinery to achieve production targets.
• Monitor process parameters, material flow, equipment performance, and SCADA alarms.
• Record production output, downtime, blending and premix activities, and process abnormalities.
• Escalate equipment breakdowns and operational issues to Maintenance and Production Supervisors.
• Provide accurate shift handover updates and maintain production records.
• Follow GMP, GHP, feed safety, and quality control procedures to ensure product quality standards are met.
• Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly equipment inspections, cleaning, and basic troubleshooting.
• Comply with all safety procedures, wear required PPE, and maintain good housekeeping standards.

REQUIREMENTS

• Certificate, Diploma, or Trade Qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Process Operations, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a manufacturing, feedmill, food processing, or industrial production environment.
• Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication, teamwork, and reporting abilities.
• Experience with automated systems or SCADA operations will be an advantage.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and overtime as required.
