We currently have an immediate vacancy for a Filling Machine Operator to join our already strong and vibrant Operations team in our Oil Bottling Plant in Lae. The position oversees the oil filling machine for the setup, changeovers, cleaning and lubrication and operating/monitoring the product filling process.

RESPONSILBILITIES:

• Be on time for shift pre-start checks and ensure machine is in correct setup and operating mode.
• Operate, monitor and report any failures and defects deterring equipment from normal operation with risks of break down.
• Carry out operational adjustments for effective filling process.
• Log all necessary information relating to equipment performance including breakdown stopagges.
• Support engineering team with repairs and preventative maintenance tasks.
• Minimise double work and waste of resources.
• Execute daily and weekly cleaning procedures.
• Maintain high level of personal hygiene and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Perform other tasks as directed by the supervisor.

Experience/ Qualification Required

• Minimum Grade 12 Level
• PETT/ TVET Training would be an advantage
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in Food Manufacturing as a Filler Operator
