Finance - Internal Auditor

We are searching for the right candidate that leads our hotels CSA Audit within all departments. This person will be connected throughout the finance and business operations including banks, suppliers, guests, regulatory agencies and internal stakeholders.

A little taste of your day-to-day
Everyday is different, but you’ll mostly be:

  • Lead with CSA requirements and ensuring the teams across Departments in the Hotel are compliant
  • Keep track and update Revenue Journal
  • Perform CSA & Income Audit (Daily) which covers;
    • Banquets Reconciliation
    • Cash & Cheque Banking Reconciliation
    • Income Audit Reconciliation
    • Ledger Reconciliation
  • Identifying discrepancies and implementing corrective actions where necessary.
  • Preparing audit reports with actionable recommendations for management.
  • Providing ad hoc support to the Finance Team and assisting with month-end and year-end processes.
  • Liaising with internal and external auditors during periodic reviews.
  • Conduct periodic reviews of internal control systems to ensure alignment with IHG’s CSA (Controls Self-Assessment) framework and corporate governance standards.
  • Develop and implement corrective action plans for audit findings and track follow-up progress with department heads.
  • Provide training and guidance to department managers to strengthen internal control awareness.
  • Support the Finance Manager in identifying operational inefficiencies and recommending process improvements.
  • Review and verify compliance with company policies, local regulations, and IHG brand standards.
  • Analyze trends in audit results to proactively identify areas of potential risk

What we need from you

  • 2+ Year experience as internal auditor or similar with hotel experience would be a bonus.
  • Minimum Diploma in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience in using PMS Opera, Pronto
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders internally and externally.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, Excel
  • Flexible to work extra hours if and when required.
