Summer Institute of Linguistics Papua New Guinea (SIL-PNG) is seeking for a Finance Controller who wants a challenge and change of scenery to live in Ukarumpa, Kainantu and become part of a dynamic team supporting the work of Bible Translation. The person we are seeking must be highly skilled and motivated professional to lead our accounting team, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and effective financial management and must have a servant heart to serve.

KEY SELECTION CRITERIA REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting in a related field with a CPA
• Minimum of 8 years of progressively responsible financial leadership experience
• Strong knowledge of PNG financial regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements
• Competent in using Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and problem solving abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Able to learn NetSuite accounting software
