This position will be responsible for the management of all finance and accounting operations and critically capture the breadth, diversity, and seniority of the role.

Key Accountabilities:

• Oversee the financial operations including project constructions, budgeting, forecasting cash flow management and reporting.
• Manage all aspects of project accounting, ensuring accurate cost tracking, revenue recognition, and financial reporting.
• Develop, monitor, and update project budgets, providing forecasts to ensure project profitability.
• Implement cost control measures to ensure projects are completed within budget while maintaining financial integrity.
• Prepare and present detailed financial reports to senior management and stakeholders, including variance analysis and performance metrics.
• Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations, tax laws, and internal controls related to accounting.
• Identify financial risks and implement strategies to mitigate risks and report to management.
• Ensure all financial operations comply with local and international accounting standards, tax laws, and financial regulations.
• Develop and maintain robust internal controls to prevent fraud, errors, and financial misstatements.
• Facilitate internal and external audits, ensuring that financial records are accurate and compliant with all applicable regulations.
• Contract Compliance: Ensure that all financial aspects of contracts are managed according to agreed terms and conditions, including billing and payment schedules.
• Ensure accurate tax reporting and compliance with all tax laws and regulations.
• Corporate Governance: Uphold the company's corporate governance policies, ensuring transparency and accountability in all financial dealings.
• Maintain the highest level of ethical standards in all financial activities, ensuring integrity and fairness.
• Accuracy and Attention to Detail and Deadline oriented.
• Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills.
• Advance Microsoft Excel Skills
• To adhere to OH&S obligations and ensure a safe working environment
• All other duties as required by the Senior Accountant or Chief Financial Officer.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional Certification: CPA, ACCA, or equivalent accounting certification.
• 5-7 years of working experience in finance, with a strong focus on project accounting and construction.
• Proficiency in financial management software (e.g., Xero, SAP, Oracle) and project management tools.
• Self-reliant, motivated and resilient individual with the capacity to work individually and assume responsibility for designated work.
• Driven to achieve goals and targets and to perform in a systematic and proactive manner.
• Must possess excellent skills in communication, time management, and human relations skills.
• Possess diplomacy, with attention to details, good organisational skills and good interpersonal skills.
