FINANCE Officer

Pactrade (PNG) Limited is an established FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) and is part of CJ Patel Group of Companies in Fiji. Pactrade is represented in PNG with its Head Office in Port Moresby and a branch in Lae, Morobe Province.

Reporting directly to the Accountant, the role of the Accounts Assistant is to perform efficient and accurate accounting functions. Responsibilities include:

1. Ensure compliance with all standard operations policies and procedures related to day-to-day activities.
2. Maintain a filing system and ensure confidentiality and security of all files.
3. Honest and able to maintain and handle cash.
4. Update SOA and follow up on payments
5. Preparing credit notes
6. Knowledgable on fleet management
7. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements and skills

• Minimum Diploma in accounting or business management (Compulsory)
• Valid Driving licence with driving experience would be an advantage
• Minimal (1-2) years’ experience in similar role
• Familiar with MS Office Suite, and experience in any Accounting Software
• Fluent in English language both written and oral
• Excellent time management skill & ability to priorities a demanding workload.
• Able to meet deadlines and work under pressure
• have 2 years experience in FMCG in the accounts division.
• Ability to work autonomously
