Finance Officer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Finance Officer to join our Finance team in Port Moresby. This role reports to the Finance Manager the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the financial management of the Company through accurate reporting, financial analysis, budgeting support, and ensuring compliance with statutory and internal financial requirements. The role plays a key part in maintaining financial integrity and support decision making.

Key Responsibility Areas

• Prepare financial reports and assist with budgeting
• Perform reconciliations and maintain general ledger accuracy
• Support team and statutory
• Monitor accounts payable and receivable
• Assist with audits and financial conrols

Qualifications, Skills, and Experiences

• DiplomaDegree in Accounting/Finance or related field
• Minimum 3.-5 Years experience working in a Sales/Distribution/Warehouse in booking keeping or similar role
• Computer literate
• Experience with Accounting systems (MYOB, ATTACHE)
• Strong analytical and Excel skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Honest, reliable and able to work independently
• Problem-solving and customer service focus
