Monier Limited the single largest producer, supplier and distributor or construction materials and building products in PNG is seeking to recruit suitably qualified and highly motivated individual for the following position:

Fixed Plant Supervisor

Reports to Services Manager and handles the day to day operations of the Maintenance Division of the Company

Duties Include:

• Schedule, train supervise and motivate employees for the Fixed Plant Services
• Coordinate work performed by Mechanical contractors
• Ensure efficient repair schedules
• Prioritize the maintenance and repairs or major equipments
• Monitor timesheets and hours worked on each job
• Assist in mechanical system installation, troubleshooting and repair as needed
• Assist in monitoring employee performance and evaluations
• Assist in implementing the safety policies and procedures for the department

Must have prior knowledge in maintenance and operation of:

• Conveyor belt system
• Cement Silo systems, i.e. dust collectors and blowers
• Concrete Batching Plant
• Pneumatic and Hydraulic system.

Desirable Qualifications, Experience & Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or Trade Certificate
• 5+ yrs experience as a Trade Certificate holder
• Able to work on a fast-paced environment and multi-task effectively
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
