Job Title: Fleet Administration Officer
Department: Admin
Reports To: Admin Manager
Location: Port Moresby
Job Summary:
The Fleet & Administration Officer is responsible for monitoring and coordinating the servicing of the company vehicle fleet, tracking fuel usage, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring fleet compliance, safety, and cost efficiency. Whilst contributing to the day-to-day admin operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor daily use, condition, and availability of company vehicles
- Schedule and coordinate vehicle servicing, repairs, inspections, and renewals
- Maintain accurate fleet records including registrations, insurance, servicing, and maintenance history
- Track and reconcile fuel usage, fuel cards, mileage, and consumption trends
- Prepare weekly and monthly fleet and fuel reports for management
- Ensure compliance with company fleet policies and road safety requirements
- Report accidents, breakdowns, misuse, or incidents promptly
- Liaise with mechanics, suppliers, and service providers
- Assist with admin operations
- Maintains cleanliness of admin vehicles
- Point of contact between groups fleet & logistics team
Qualifications and Skills:
- Certificate or Diploma in Administration, Logistics, Fleet Management, or similar
- Previous experience in fleet, logistics, or administration preferred
- Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, email systems)
- Knowledge of PNG road regulations is an advantage
- Have valid Class 6 Driver’s License
