FOREMAN WELDER

Reporting to the Fabrication Workshop Manager & Fabrication Workshop Superintendent, the successful incumbent will be responsible for reading engineering drawings and supervise Welders that construct and assemble steel structures and manufactured products.

To be successful in this role, you must have the following:

• Minimum of Grade 10 Qualification;
• Have a MFW Trade certificate through a formal apprenticeship training program certified by the NATTB.
• Coded welder.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in welder supervision or similar role;
• Able to train and mentor subordinate Welders and Trade Assistants;
• Ability to lead and work with minimum supervision at all times;
• Demonstrate good workmanship, good understanding of, and compliance with, good safety practices.
