Spectra Industrial Limited is seeking a resolute and skilled Forklift, Generator and Diesel Mechanic to join our team at Spectra Industrial Ltd, Port Moresby Branch. This position is crucial to our operations and plays a key role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our daily activities.

Position: Forklift, Generator and Diesel Mechanic

Location: Port Moresby Branch, Spectra Industrial Ltd

Report to: Workshop Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance on forklifts, Generators and Engines such as oil changes, filter replacements, and brake inspections.
• Diagnoses and troubleshoots mechanical and electrical issues with forklifts and Generators.
• Proven experience of at least 3-5 years in similar roles.
• Repair of Hydraulic fitting, hose repairs and all hydraulic related concepts.
• Repair or replace faulty parts, such as motors, transmissions, and hydraulic systems.
• Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
• Oversee the installation and repair of forks, chains, and other attachments.
• Maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
• Adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Valid and current Forklift driver's license.
• Valid and Current Driving License up to Class 6.
• Previous experience operating a forklift in an industrial setting.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
• Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects.
