Job Summary

The Warehouse Forklift Driver is responsible for operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise in a safe and efficient manner. This role ensures that products are stored and transported within the warehouse in compliance with company procedures and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Forklift Operations:
• Safely operate a forklift to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.
• Perform daily inspections and maintenance checks on forklifts to ensure proper functioning.
2. Material Handling:
• Move products to and from storage areas, delivery vehicles, and loading docks.
• Stack goods systematically and ensure safe storage.
3. Inventory Management:
• Accurately record the movement of goods, ensuring correct documentation and labels.
• Assist with stock checks and inventory audits when required.
4. Safety Compliance:
• Follow company safety procedures and protocols while operating machinery.
• Identify and report safety hazards, equipment malfunctions, or damages to the supervisor.
5. General Warehouse Support:
• Assist in general warehouse duties, including cleaning, organizing, and ensuring smooth workflow.
• Collaborate with team members to fulfill operational requirements.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience as a forklift operator or in a similar role.
• Valid forklift operator certification/license.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations and inventory systems.
• Ability to lift and move heavy materials as required.
• Attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and compliance.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work in varying temperatures and warehouse environments.
• Physically fit
• Extended periods of standing and operating machinery.
