Position

We’re seeking to recruit a results-driven and professional Forklift Operator for our Port Moresby office. The Forklift Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently operating the forklift to support daily Company operations. The position involves loading, unloading, moving and positioning materials, equipment and supplies as required, while ensuring safe material handling, proper equipment care and compliance with company safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Forklift Operation: Safely operate the forklift to move, load and unload materials.
• Material Handling: Transport and arrange materials in designated storage areas.
• Operation Support: Assist with daily material handling requirements to support operations.
• Equipment Checks: Conduct daily forklift inspections and report faults or maintenance requirements.
• Equipment Care: Keep the forklift clean and ensure proper care after use.
• Reporting: Report hazards, accidents, equipment damage and other operational issues to the supervisor.

Qualifications & Experiences

• Minimum Grade 12 qualification or higher.
• Valid forklift operator Licence.
• Previous forklift operating experience.
• Experience in construction, warehousing or an industrial environment is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
