Generator Mechanic/Technician

We are now hiring experienced and qualified Generator Mechanic/Technician to be attached to our Workshop department based in Zenag Farm. This position is to ensure all Generator are Functional.

Duties and Responsibilities includes

• Responsible for the upkeep of all Generator units.

• Responsible for daily and weekly inspection.

• Responsible for monitoring adherence to safety policies and standards in the Area

• Performing Preventive and Corrective Maintenance.

• Troubleshooting and repairing Engines (Cummins, Perkins, Deutz, Cummins Marine Generator)
• Interpret error code on panel board and rectify.

To be successful:

• Must have a Trades certificate/Diploma/Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from recognised institution.
• Hands on experience in trouble shooting (Cummins, Perkins, Deutz)
• 8 years working experience in Generator Mechanic/Technician
• Can perform mechanical job on different size of engine 4 cylinder to V12.
• Can interpret diagram and symbols.
• Well verse in Electrical system and controller DSE.
• Can use Electronic too (ET) and Engine Computer program.
• Good communication, reporting skills and attention to detail.
• Computer Literate is a plus.
• Flexible with working time
• Excellent trouble shooting skills.
