We're looking for a skilled Generator Technician to join our team at Pacific Services Group in Port Moresby. If you have experience with servicing, troubleshooting, and repairing backup power generators (gensets), we want to hear from you.

About the Role

As a Generator Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of a variety of gensets. Your primary duties will include:

• Performing routine servicing and preventive maintenance.

• Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical faults.

• Carrying out repairs on-site and in our workshop.

• Preparing service reports and documentation.

• Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard of quality and safety.

Key Requirements

• Proven experience as a technician working with gensets.

• Strong knowledge of diesel and petrol engine systems.

• Proficiency in reading electrical and mechanical schematics.

• Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills.

• Relevant trade qualification or certification.

• A valid driver's license.
