The Role
Whilst performing your role as a GIS Officer, you will ensure to observe and abide by set Organizational Standards, Code of Conduct, Human Rights Policy, Indigenous people’s policy and HSE Standards including the HSE Charter are respected.

Your role will also be expected to execute your duties in accordance with the prescribed Technical Standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and modify maps, graphs, and diagrams using GIS software and tools.
  • Support GIS Coordinator and specialists in maintaining project-wide GIS databases.
  • Assist in integrating GIS systems across various project departments.
  • Maintain GIS registers, dashboards, and related documentation for reporting.
  • Provide regular updates to the GIS team on registers, dashboards, and data.
  • Support field teams and other divisions with data collection, mapping, and GIS tasks.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
  • Degree in Geographic Information Systems or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in field data collection, mapping, and database management.
  • Basic knowledge of GIS software such as ArcGIS Pro and QGIS.
  • Strong analytical and computing skills.
  • Familiarity with GPS/mobile survey tools and basic understanding of land laws is a plus.
