Ground Operations Administration Officer

We are pleased to announce an open vacancy in our Operations Division for a qualified and experienced Ground Operations Administration Officer

Based in Port Moresby, this position will report to the General Manager Operations and will be responsible for ground and airport operations administrtion duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain high customter service standards in the functions of all airport administration matters.
• Ensuring all confidential infromation is stored and handles in accordance with relevant legislation and cimpany policy.
• Creatimng memos as required
• Assisting ground operations managers with the coordination and communication across all airport that is covered by PNG Air
• Providing management support and coordinating duty travel for ground operations employees (including out-ports)
• Initating and verifying invoices and costs for staff PPE and other items required by the division.
• Accurate record keeping of PPEs and other stock items
• Laise closely with Finance and HR for division required business needs
• Communicate with all airport manager accorss PNG Air network.

Qualification/Experiences

• Must have completed Diploma or Degree level education.
• Minimum of 2 years’ work experience in administration and managment roles.
• Must have strong and good work ethic
• Must be able to understand and communicate well with people.
• Sober habits
• Must have sound computer skills/knowledge.
• Good attention to detail
• Able to work under minimun supervision
• Logistics knowledge of sequential routes and strong coordination skill
• Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders
