GROUND OPERATIONS TRAINER
An opportunity has risen within the Operations Division for an experienced Ground Operations Trainer.
This position will report to the Ground Operations Training and Compliance Manager and will be responsible for producing and delivering aviation training in line with company procedures, and ensuring that staff understand the components on the trained material.
The following are key Responsibilities and duties:
- Develop and maintain training curriculums for the various roles within the Operations
Department. - Deliver a minimum of four (4) different Ground Operations training programs –
including but not limited to Ramp Training, Dangerous Goods (DG) Awareness,
Customer Service Officer (CSO), and Cargo Systems training. - Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to support the regular assessment of
learning and development needs - Provide input into the Ground Operations Training Plan and a cost-effective training
schedule. - Ensure training programs keep staff compliant with all current and proposed
regulations and legislation. - Document training processes in the relevant manuals and align all training material to
Ground Operations requirements. - Continuously improve training using varied learning styles and delivery methods
(face-to-face, online, blended) and incorporate industry best practice in instructional
design. - Maintain training records for all staff using the company systems and provide regular
reports on future training requirements to the Ground Operations Training and
Compliance Manager. - Perform regular internal audits of training records to ensure all staff have completed
regulatory and company training within agreed timeframes - Coordinate and assist with scheduled third-party and internal audits, including
supporting the Safety and Compliance team. - Develop and maintain a learning assessment and evaluation program.
- Schedule courses and personnel to attend these courses, ensuring all staff and
contractors have been trained and checked to meet compliance requirements and
remain current. - Co-facilitate JSA training with the Safety and Compliance team.

For your application to be competitive, you will have relevant qualification with previous experience in a similar role including having the following key attributes;
- A relevant qualification in training, education, aviation, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience designing and delivering training in a ground operations,
aviation, or comparable operational environment. - Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder-engagement skills.
- A sound understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements and a commitment
to a strong safety culture. - A proactive, organised approach with the ability to manage multiple programs and
audits to agreed timeframes.
