About the Role
The Head of Digital Banking is responsible for leading the strategy, development, and performance of all electronic banking channels. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the role drives digital transformation, oversees digital platforms and partnerships, and ensures secure, reliable, and customer-centric digital banking services across retail and corporate segments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the bank’s digital banking strategy and transformation initiatives.
  • Oversee all electronic channels including mobile, internet, and corporate online banking.
  • Drive innovation in digital products, payments, and customer onboarding solutions.
  • Ensure high availability, performance, and security across all digital platforms.
  • Strengthen digital customer experience, adoption, and engagement.
  • Manage digital banking financial performance, reporting, and analytics.
  • Build and mentor teams
  • Lead vendor partnerships and collaborate with technology teams to deliver scalable digital solutions.
Key Requirements & Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
  • Postgraduate qualifications such as an MBA or relevant master’s degree are advantageous.
  • 8–12+ years’ experience in digital banking, electronic channels, or financial technology.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a senior leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of digital banking platforms, payments, APIs, and cybersecurity.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering digital transformation initiatives.
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and strategic thinking capability.
