Are you a strategic HR leader with a passion for operational excellence and people development? Steamships Limited is seeking a dynamic Head of HR Operations to lead and elevate our HR service delivery across diverse business units. This senior leadership role is pivotal in shaping our workforce strategy, driving HR transformation, and ensuring compliance and engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• HR Operations Leadership: Drive safety, performance, and continuous improvement across all HR functions.
• Talent Acquisition & Onboarding: Lead end-to-end recruitment for senior roles and enhance our employer value proposition.
• Post-Hire Talent Management: Oversee learning, development, succession planning, and employee engagement.
• Workforce Management: Ensure efficient systems for timekeeping, leave, payroll, and HR administration.
• Compensation & Benefits: Contribute to benchmarking, budgeting, and reward strategies.
• Strategic Advisory: Provide labour relations guidance and support business transformation initiatives.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with executive leadership, government bodies, and external partners.

Qualifications & Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Formal training in HR, labour law, or organizational development is a plus.

Experience

• Proven experience as a senior HR or payroll leader in a large, multi-entity organization.
• Demonstrated success in standardizing HR systems and leading change initiatives.
• Experience working in international and multicultural environments.

Skills & Abilities

• Strong stakeholder management and conflict resolution skills.
• Expertise in HR investigations, compliance, and labour advisory.
• Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
• Technologically adept with HRIS systems (e.g., Pronto, SharePoint).
• Excellent communication and leadership presence.
