The Role:
More Than Just "Human Resources" Based in the Lae Head Office, this isn't a "desk-bound" executive role. You will lead a dedicated team of five, driving a cultural transformation that ensures our workforce is not just "ready" for the future, but actively defining it.

- Coach for Performance: Directly influence and coach the PNG Leadership Team, acting as a critical business partner to align people strategies with commercial goals.
- Build Digital Capability: Transition the People & Culture function into the future by developing the digital and data-driven capabilities of your team.
- Advocate Locally & Globally: Master the "matrix" by balancing global corporate initiatives with the specific environmental and cultural needs of the PNG business.
- Proven Senior Leadership: 5+ years of success in a Senior Business Partnering or HR Manager role, ideally within a global matrix organisation.
- PNG Expertise: A deep understanding of Papua New Guinea labor laws, regulations, and the unique challenges of developing markets.
- Educational Foundation: Bachelor’s Degree in HR Management, Psychology, or Business Management.
- Influencing Power: Expert stakeholder management skills with the ability to build "financially sound" business cases that drive growth and profitability.
- Change Resilience: Demonstrated experience leading digital transformation and organisational change in "challenging" or high-pressure environments.
- Growth Mindset: A passion for coaching others and a commitment to the organisation's ways of working; including speed, agility, and a focus on the frontline.
