POSITION VACANCY
CreditBank PNG is recruiting a suitable candidate for the role of Head of Retail & Digital Distribution.
The incumbent is responsible for driving the distribution of new customer onboarding and new digital channels across the Credit Bank PNG network. It will be responsible for the operational functions of the customer service teams and Branches across PNG. This role combines strategic planning and operational execution to drive sales, customer acquisition, and service excellence across both traditional and digital platforms in financial services.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and optimize performance across the branch network and field sales teams. Develop sales targets and incentive structures. Ensure delivery of consistent, high-quality customer service across all touchpoints.
- Coordinate marketing and promotional campaigns tailored for in-branch activation.
- Drive growth of digital sales channels, including mobile apps, merchant solutions, payroll, online banking.
- Collaborate with digital product, marketing, and technology teams to enhance digital customer journeys. Analyze and improve KPIs such as lead conversion and digital engagement.
- Contribute to the compilation of detailed and complex lending proposals and ensures all aspects meet the company’s high credit quality standards for assessment by the Credit and Risk teams.
- Drive the development of a holistic marketing plan to promote CBP products and services in the local markets.
- Builds enduring relationships with the business community, business partners and business introducers across PNG.
- Enhances and develops enduring relationships with CBP existing and prospective customers and demonstrate a strong understanding of key business sectors and industries.
- Contributes to the development of unique value propositions, products and services for target customer segments.
- Designs and implements processes and procedures that deliver differentiated customer experience for each target customer segment.
- Demonstrate effective lead generation and pipeline management of prospective target customers.
- Coaches and develops the sales and service team to enhance sales effectiveness and business development skills and capabilities.
- Actively promotes the group’s corporate vision, values and behaviors.
- Actively engages with all key stakeholders, including directors, regulators, business partners and introducers to promote the interests of CBP and develop enduring relationships.
- Adheres to all Financial Prudential Standards and governance, risk and compliance policies and procedures.
- Adheres to all internal frameworks, policies and procedures.
Other Duties:
- Other duties as directed by the Operational Performance Manager or the Chief Operations Officer.
Experience:
- 5 – 10 years of experience in a similar role
- Degree / master’s in business, Economics or equivalent
- Sound knowledge of the local market conditions
- Establishment of business development strategies to achieve outcomes
- Knowledge of Financial Service policies and procedures
- Demonstrated experience in coaching and developing others
- Develop a high performance, customer focused, values driven culture across the CBP team.
