Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Heavy Duty Semi Truck Driver to transport goods safely and efficiently across designated routings/locations. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and a thorough understanding of transportation regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate heavy-duty semi trucks to transport goods to designated locations.
• Inspect vehicles before and after trips to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with safety standards.
• Plan routes and meet delivery schedules while adhering to traffic laws and company policies.
• Secure cargo properly to prevent damage or loss during transit.
• Maintain accurate logs of working hours, vehicle service, and repair status.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and warehouse staff.
• Report any incidents, accidents, or mechanical issues promptly.
• Comply with all DOT regulations and company safety policies.

Qualifications:

• Valid Class 4 drivers license with appropriate endorsements.
• Proven experience as a heavy-duty truck driver (minimum 2 years preferred).
• Clean driving record and strong knowledge of road safety regulations.
• Ability to operate GPS and other navigation tools.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy loads if required.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with long-haul or cross-border transportation.
• Basic mechanical knowledge for minor repairs and troubleshooting.

Working Conditions:

• Extended periods of driving and sitting.
• Exposure to varying weather conditions.
• May require overnight travel depending on route assignments
