We are seeking a creative, motivated, and experienced Communication & Media Specialist to join our team. Reporting to the Manager – People, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing communication strategies, managing media relations, and promoting the organization’s activities across multiple platforms.

Key roles and responsibilities include:

• Develop and implement effective communication and media strategies.
• Prepare press releases, newsletters, reports, and other communication materials.
• Manage the organization’s social media platforms and digital content.
• Coordinate media coverage, interviews, and public relations activities.
• Design and support awareness campaigns and promotional materials.
• Ensure consistent branding and messaging across all communication channels.
• Monitor media trends and evaluate the impact of communication activities.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience required:

• A degree holder in Communications, Media Studies, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field.
• Experienced in media relations, public communication, and content development.
• An excellent writer and editor with strong attention to detail.
• Skilled in managing social media platforms, digital communication tools, and online campaigns.
• Able to develop and implement communication and media strategies.
• Confident in engaging with stakeholders, partners, and media organizations.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• A strong team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proactive, creative, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
