Highway Semi Drivers- Farm Based

Zenag Chicken has pioneered the poultry industry in Papua New Guinea for over 75 years. We provide employment to over a thousand employees, with our Head Office based in Lae and our farm a few hours’ drive out of the city, along the Bulolo District.

Due to expansion, we are hiring Highway Semi Drivers- Farm Based.

The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to designated locations. This includes adherence to safety standards, timely deliveries and ability to handle long hours drives on highway.

Duties and Responsibilities includes

• Operate and maintain assigned vehicle to transport goods.
• Follow designated routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries.
• Conduct pre – and post trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it operates properly and meets safety standard.
• Accurately complete deliveries logs and report any mechanical issues or incidents promptly.
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

Requirements:

• Must have a valid class 4 driver’s licence.
• Must have at least 3+ years of highway driving experience preferred.
• Must have knowledge on traffic regulations.
• Must have ability to handle long distance driving.
• Must have excellent communication and strong attention to detail.
• Must be physically fit.
