Position Vacancy – Hire Operations Manager (Lae Based)

Spectra Industrial Limited in Lae is seeking a dynamic Hire Operations Manager to oversee its equipment hire division, ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective operations.

Responsibilities:

• Operational Management: Oversee day-to-day hire operations and workshop activities.
• Safety & Compliance: Ensure all equipment hire and workshop processes meet safety regulations and company standards.
• Cost Efficiency: Manage budgets, optimize resource use, and reduce operational costs.
• Customer Service: Maintain strong client relationships and deliver reliable hire services.
• Team Leadership: Supervise staff, provide training, and foster a culture of accountability and excellence.
• Maintenance Oversight: Ensure equipment is serviced, maintained, and available for hire at all times.

Requirements:

• Experience: Proven background in operations management, preferably in industrial hire or heavy equipment sectors.
• Leadership Skills: Strong ability to lead diverse teams and manage performance.
• Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with workshop processes, equipment maintenance, and hire logistics.
• Communication: Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot operational challenges and implement effective solutions.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license.
• Class 6 or higher (Light Motor Vehicle and Heavy Equipment) preferred, to ensure capability in supervising and occasionally operating company vehicles and hire equipment.
• Clean driving record with demonstrated commitment to safety standards.
