Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Horticulturalist to oversee the care, design, and maintenance of landscaped areas across our properties. The successful candidate will ensure our gardens and green spaces reflect the highest standards of beauty, sustainability, and cultural pride.
Key Responsibilities:
- Keep lawns green, healthy, and regularly mowed.
- Build and manage a plant nursery to support landscaping needs.
- Design and enhance landscapes through plant selection and beautification.
- Plan, design, and maintain gardens, lawns, and landscaped areas.
- Manage plant health, soil quality, and pest control using sustainable practices.
- Advise management on seasonal planting and cost-effective landscaping solutions.
- Promote environmentally friendly practices and contribute to company branding through green initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Certificate in Horticulture, Agriculture, or related field.
- Proven experience in landscaping, plant care, and grounds management.
- Knowledge of PNG flora and climate conditions.
- Ability to communicate clearly with staff and management.
- Hardworking, reliable, and able to take initiative.
- Capable of working with minimal supervision while delivering quality results.
