About the Role

SMPL Hotels Resorts is seeking an experienced Hotel Manager to lead operations at our Upcoming KIKORI HOTEL. Our 60-room hotel with a restaurant and modern facilities. You’ll oversee accommodation, Food & Beverage, housekeeping, utilities, and guest services to deliver a safe, reliable, and comfortable experience for guests.

Key Responsibilities

Lead daily hotel operations: accommodation, housekeeping, F&B, bar/recreation, laundry, maintenance, transport.

Manage rosters, supervise staff, and drive performance and engagement in a remote setting.

Community Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with local community, groups, cultural organizations, tourism bodies, and nearby businesses. Collaborate with local suppliers, artisans, and service providers to integrate community offerings into hotel operations and guest experiences.

Ensure compliance with HSE, food safety, hygiene, and water/power systems standards.

Maintain budget, cost controls, and KPIs (occupancy, satisfaction, service uptime).

Handle guest service escalations and maintain high satisfaction metrics.

Coordinate with mining client stakeholders, contractors, and local authorities.

What You’ll Bring

5+ years in hotel management.

Ability work independently/unsupervised. Strong leadership and people management.

Proficiency with PMS and restaurant management systems, and procurement systems.

Food Safety Supervisor and HACCP knowledge advantageous.

Driver’s license; ability to pass pre-employment medicals and police checks.
