MasterSystem Technologies Ltd are looking to recruit the following at their Lae Office.

HR Administrative Assistant (Lae)

We are looking for an HR Administrative Assistant to perform a variety of personnel-related administrative tasks. You will support the HR department in duties like posting job ads, updating HR database and processing employees’ requests.

This position requires excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially. If you are passionate about HR policies and procedures and want to help create a nourishing workplace, this position is for you.

Tasks & Duties will include;

  • Compile and update employee records (hard and soft copies)
  • Assist with day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties
  • Provide clerical and administrative support to Human Resources executives
  • Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities (staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations, separations, vacation and sick leaves)
  • Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data, like absences, bonus and leaves.
  • Prepare paperwork for HR policies and procedures
  • Process employees’ requests and provide relevant information Deal with requests regarding human resources issues, rules, and regulations
  • Coordinate HR projects, meetings and training seminars
  • Collaborate with the Recruiter (Department Managers) to post job ads on careers pages and process incoming resumes
  • Coordinate communication with candidates and schedule interviews
  • Provide orientations for new employees by sharing onboarding packages and explaining company policies
  • Other duties as required.

Specific Requirements:

  • At least 3years relevant work experience as an HR Assistant, Staff Assistant or relevant human resources/administrative position
  • Educated up to Diploma level in Human Resources or related field.
  • Basic knowledge of labor laws
  • Excellent organizational & time management skills
  • Strong communications skills
  • Computer literate
  • Must be familiar with MS Office applications & Outlook.
  • Being proficient in MS Excel
