About the Role
Our client is creating a brand-new role that blends strategic HR initiatives with dynamic learning and development programs. They aim to build a highly skilled, motivated workforce to drive operational success across their locations. This role offers the unique chance to influence the creation of a standalone training center while providing HR support to their growing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Training and Development: Design and implement a learning and development strategy tailored to the hospitality industry. Develop tools and deliver training programs to upskill team members.
- HR Support: Provide advisory and operational HR support, assisting with recruitment, onboarding, and talent development initiatives.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with department heads and HR teams to foster employee engagement and motivation through innovative activities.
- Performance Management: Support employee relations, compliance, and retention strategies.
- Resource Management: Manage training budgets and oversee partnerships with external trainers and consultants.
- Systems and Processes: Update organisational documents and contribute to market studies on employment conditions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organisational Development, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in HR and/or training, ideally within the hospitality or service industry.
- Proven ability to design and deliver impactful training programs.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage and inspire diverse teams.
- Experience managing budgets and working with external consultants is advantageous.
- Flexible, adaptable, and capable of building processes and strategies from scratch.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and a tech-savvy mindset.
