HUMAN RESOURCE ASSISTANT/CLERK- LAE BASE

International Food Corporation Ltd, the leading manufacturer of Besta Mackerel and Tuna products in PNG and the South Pacific, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Human Resource Assistant/ CLERK.

OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY

The Human Resource Assistant will provide administrative support across HR functions, assist in recruitment and onboarding, coordinate training programs, and support employee development initiatives. The role involves creating training materials, scheduling courses, and ensuring smooth HR operations.

JOB Responsibilities

• Assist with recruitment activities, including posting job openings, reviewing applications, and scheduling interviews.
• Support onboarding of new employees, including conducting orientations and processing new hire documentation.
• Maintain and update employee files and HR records accurately.
• Assist with benefits administration and general HR clerical duties.
• Support HR projects and initiatives as required.
• Organize and coordinate training events, prepare conference/training rooms, and design training materials.
• Develop and maintain visual and written training resources.

REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma in Human Resource Management (HRM), or related field.
• 3–4 years of experience in an HR support role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
