Human Resource Manager

A little taste of your day-to-day
Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:
- Creating programmes to foster a positive work environment for every single employee
- Supporting and administering an annual team member satisfaction survey
- Welcoming and orienting new members of staff
- Developing creative ways to inspire and motivate the team to provide exceptional guest experiences
- Managing employee records and ensuring compliance with relevant employee laws, policies and procedures
- Ensure hotel hiring standards are applicable laws and regulations are followed in a timely manner for recruiting and selection processes.
- Work with department managers to develop initiatives to reach service standards and drive continuous improvement in the guest experience.
- Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and IHG company policies and procedures. Conduct annual HR compliance/ standards self-audit.
What we need from you
- Bachelor’s degree in human resource management or equivalent
- 3+ years’ related experience in Human Resources, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience in payroll management
- Strong organizational skills
- Knowledge of Employment Act PNG and relevant health and safety laws
- Experience in budget management
