Reinhold Engineering and Group of Companies Limited is a nationally owned civil works and building construction company based in Port Moresby. As we continue to expand and strengthen our operations across Papua New Guinea, we are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Support Officer to join our team.
About the Role
The HR Support Officer will provide administrative and operational support to the Human Resources function, ensuring effective coordination of HR processes, employee records management, recruitment support, and compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.
This position is well suited to an individual who is organized, confidential, and capable of operating in a fast-paced construction and project-based environment.
Key Responsibilities
-- Provide administrative support across all HR functions.
-- Assist with recruitment coordination, including interview scheduling and candidate communication.
-- Maintain accurate employee records and personnel files.
-- Support onboarding and induction processes.
-- Assist in the preparation of employment contracts and HR documentation.
-- Coordinate training schedules and maintain training records.
-- Monitor leave records and support payroll documentation processes.
-- Ensure compliance with Papua New Guinea labour laws and company policies.
-- Provide general HR reporting and support to management as required.
Qualifications and Experience
-- Degree or Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
-- Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in an HR or administrative support role.
-- Knowledge of Papua New Guinea employment legislation and HR practices.
-- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
-- High level of confidentiality and professionalism.
-- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
-- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
