ICT PROJECT ENGINEER

We are seeking an experienced and passionate ICT Project Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering ICT infrastructure and technology projects that support operational efficiency, safety and innovations across our project and operational sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Delivery: Plan, execute and manage ICT projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timeframes.
• Infrastructure Implementation: Oversee deployment of ICT systems including networks, servers, communication and security solutions.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and contractors to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Compliance & Standards: Ensure all ICT solutions adhere to industry standards, protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Technical Support: Provide technical expertise during project design, implementation and troubleshooting phases.
• Documentation: Maintain scope, schedules, budgets and risk assessments.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• Experience: 5 years in ICT project engineering or similar role. Proven experience in ICT infrastructure projects within the mining or similar industry.
• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of networking, server architecture, and cloud technologies.
• Project Management: Experience with project management methodologies and proficiency in tools such as MS Project or similar.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work in remote or challenging environments.
