About the Project
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Asset Assessment Consultant (or team) to conduct a comprehensive assessment of an older PVC manufacturing facility. The factory contains large-scale machinery and equipment that require evaluation to determine:
- What can be repaired/refurbished.
- What can be sold (operational or for parts).
- What must be scrapped/disposed.
- Deliver a final report with recommendations and cost-benefit analysis.
- Timeliness - completion within agreed 3–6 months timeframe with opportunity to extent.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct a full inventory and inspection of all machinery and equipment in the PVC factory.
- Assess mechanical, electrical, and safety conditions of large-scale machines.
- Evaluate compliance with current health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Categorize assets into repair/refurbish, sell, or scrap.
- Provide valuation estimates for resale and scrap.
- Deliver a comprehensive report with recommendations and cost-benefit analysis.
- Liaise with management and external buyers/scrap dealers as needed.
Qualifications & Experiences
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial/mechanical engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial machinery assessment, plant engineering, or asset valuation.
- Proven track record in heavy machinery audits and industrial compliance inspections.
- Experience in PVC/plastics manufacturing equipment
- Strong technical diagnostic skills (mechanical and electrical systems).
- Knowledge of industrial safety standards and environmental regulations.
- Ability to perform cost-benefit analysis for repair vs. replacement.
