We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Inventory Officer - Stores to join our Warehouse team in Lae. Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring inventory accuracy, stock integrity, and efficient warehouse operations.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Conduct regular stock checks and physical inventory inspections to ensure stock accuracy.
• Reconcile inventory discrepancies, including lost and found stock, short receipts, over receipts and inventory adjustments.
• Monitor and manage damaged, aged and obsolete stock.
• Process and investigate inventory transactions within SAP, including stock adjustments and reversals where required.
• Support warehouse operations with stock receiving, issuing, reporting and reconciliation activities.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure all processes are audit compliant.
• Work closely with Production, Maintenance, Procurement and Warehouse teams to resolve inventory-related issues.
• Ensure compliance with company Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental requirement

To be considered for the role, you will need to have:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Management or a related discipline.
• Minimum of two (2) years' experience in inventory or stock management within a SAP environment.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• High attention to detail and strong problem-solving capabilities.
• A continuous improvement mindset and commitment to delivering results.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple departments.
